Callum O'Brien's Ride to Conquer Cancer

Callum O'Brien, ex New Zealand Champion, is taking on a big challenge to help raise money for Cancer Research - something which he is particularly passionate about. On the 16th and 17th November Callum is getting on a bike to take on the 200km Ride to Conquer Cancer in Auckland.
Callum retired from the Professional Squash Circuit in 2006 soon after the Commonwealth Games due to wear and tear in his hips. Soon after that he was diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma and was forced to take time away from his hospitality business to undergo Chemotherapy and Radiotherapy to fight the cancer. In May this year Callum celebrated 5 years in remission and so is now going to battle the disease in a new way.

Each competitor is required to raise $2500 in fundraising to line up on the start line so Callum needs our help. If you would like to donate to this great cause, head along to Callum's participant page and make a contribution on the link below.
