King Back at Number Five

New Zealand's Joelle King has broken back into the top five in the WSA women's world squash rankings.

King has edged up one place to number five on the June list, matching the career best she set in November last year.  The improved ranking comes after a solid month on the world circuit, which included a quarterfinal finish at the prestigious British Open last week.

Fellow kiwi Amanda Landers-Murphy has slipped two places to number 37 on the latest list, while Kylie Lindsay is also down two to 39.

However, Megan Craig has jumped inside the top 50 for the first time in her career, climbing six places to number 46 after winning the City of Perth West Australia Open.Joelle King

Meanwhile, two New Zealanders have set career bests in the top 100 on the men's PSA rankings this month. Evan Williams has continued his relentless climb, up one place to number 79 while Paul Coll is up two to 95.  Campbell Grayson remains the top ranked New Zealander on the list, despite dropping five places to number 42 while Martin Knight is down two to 48 and Kashif Shuja has held steady at 95.
