Junior World Rankings Released

The Junior World Rankings have been released, with several Kiwis featuring prominently on the list.

Midlands' Chris Van Der Salm and Bay of Plenty's Ben Grindrod have been rewarded for strong Northern Hemisphere tours over December and January.  While the rest of us were overindulging at Christmas time, Chris and Ben were competing in the Scottish and British Junior Opens.  Their strong efforts were highlighted by Chris' runner-up finish at the Scottish Junior Open.

Chris features at 52 on the list, with Ben at 115.  Jonny Barnett and Zac Millar are tied at 171, with James Cooper just behind in 239th position.

It is fantastic to see New Zealand players recognised on the global stage, and rewarded for their efforts to travel and expose themselves to the highest level of junior squash in the world.
