Squash NZ announce the finalists for the National Coaching Awards, the Club of the Year Award and the inaugural Volunteer of the Year Award.

Top Line-up of Finalists Announced

Squash NZ announce the finalists for the National Coaching Awards, the Club of the Year Award and the inaugural Volunteer of the Year Award. All winners will be announced at the Squash NZ AGM on Saturday 1 December at the Jet Park Hotel, Auckland.

The Coaching Advisory Panel were pleased with the quantity and quality of nominations this year with almost twice as many nominations received compared to last year. Squash NZ Coach Director said "there were some really great nominations which made the Panel's decision really difficult. It's great to see the effect of the new Coach Development Framework coming through and to see some new names come through".

The Finalists for each Coaching category are listed below.

New Coach of the Year

The winners will be contacted shortly to attend the Squash NZ AGM where the presentations will take place.

Club of the Year

The Club of the Year nominations were also of a very high calibre and its great to see so many good things going on at clubs around the country. Pennie Ball, Squash NZ Development Director said "there was a really great variety in nominations from small rural clubs to large city clubs but all highlighted some positive practices across the country".

Volunteer of the Year

This year Squash NZ, in collaboration with the Districts, have run a national Volunteer of the Year award. Districts opened up nominations locally and their winners became finalists in the National Award. Squash NZ are pleased to announce the following finalists
