Craig claims title at Coffs Harbour

Rising star Megan Craig has claimed the third WSA world squash tour title of her fledgling career.

The kiwi teenager has taken out the North Coast Open in Coffs Harbour, beating Australian Sarah Cardwell in five games in the final.  Craig twice fought back from a game down in a marathon battle, justifying her top seeding with a 10-12, 11-7, 9-11, 11-2, 11-7 victory.

Fellow New Zealander Taylor Falvell also had a good weekend.  The 14th seed upset 5th seeded Australian Maggy Marshall in the second round, before going down to Cardwell in the quarterfinals.

Meanwhile, disappointment for Paul Coll in the men's event.  Second seeded Coll missed out on a spot in the final, beaten 11-8, 12-14, 11-7, 11-9 by Scotland's Greg Lobban in the semis.  Lobban went on to lose in four games to Australian Mike Corren in the title decider.
