Squash NZ Launches National Volunteer Award

Squash NZ, in conjunction with the eleven Districts, is delighted to announce the inaugural National Volunteer of the Year Award.

We recognise that squash across the country would not happen without the numerous hours of work put in by club volunteers. Therefore, we would like to offer affiliated squash clubs the opportunity to recognise some of those people who dedicate so much of their time to making our sport happen. The initiative aims to encourage clubs to recognise their volunteers and provide an opportunity to do so.

The winner's story will be highlighted on our website, a media release will be given to their local newspaper and they will feature in the Squash NZ annual report.

The Award has been developed in collaboration with the squash Districts with each Districts call for nominations and selecting a winner. The 11 District winners are automatically nominated for the national award
