Glory for Millar, and Kiwis Streaming Live

Zac Millar has won the consolation plate final at the World Junior Championships iZac Formal 2n Doha overnight.

Zac has comfortably beaten the Australian number two Thomas Calvert 11-3, 11-4, 11-3 in just 24 minutes to be crowned consolation plate winner at the 19th World Junior Men's Championships being played in Doha, Qatar.  The result capped an excellent resurgence from Zac.  After making a nervous start to the tournament, losing his first two matches, Zac recovered to not lose a single set on his way to the consolation plate.  His latest win over the Australian number two followed similar triumphs over German, Kuwaiti and Japanese opponents.

The teams event begins overnight in Qatar, with New Zealand up against second-seeds Pakistan in the first round of pool play. 

In excellent news for Kiwi squash fans; this tie will be played on the all glass court, and therefore streamed live from the World Championships website.  This is a fantastic opportunity to watch top-level squash and support the junior boys, athough you will need to be an early bird as the tie begins at 5am on Saturday morning (NZ time).
