Squash New Zealand is looking for its next CEO

Squash New Zealand is currently searching for it’s next CEO to help drive the sport to new heights.

Squash New Zealand (Squash NZ) is the national governing body for squash in New Zealand. Its purpose is to provide opportunities for players to enjoy squash at all levels by leading, developing and promoting squash throughout New Zealand. Over 18,000 members play squash in over 200 clubs and schools across the country, and many more play on a casual basis.

Squash NZ has two major strategic outcomes, participation growth and international success, underlined in the Squash NZ vision “growing at grassroots and going for gold” and is working to build a more robust path for athletes of all levels to aspire to, climb and achieve.

Reporting to the Board, the Chief Executive will manage the organisation (and its subsidiary Trusts / operations), providing clear, decisive, and effective strategic leadership to the New Zealand squash community to deliver on strategic outcomes.

A major focus of the role will be building a network of people in the squash community who can help drive the sport forward, developing and maintaining a spirit of cooperation and goodwill at all levels of the sport in New Zealand.
