Lead Coach Needed for 2019 World Men’s Team and 2019 HP National Squad


The Squash NZ men’s national team will compete at the World Men’s Team Championships 2019 in Washington DC, United States, 15-21 December as set by World Squash Federation.

The World Team Championships is a prestigious event that attracts the top players from around the globe to compete at the highest level of the sport. For the first time in the event’s 50-year history the biennial championship will be staged in the United States.

We are calling for expressions of interests for Lead Coach of the 2019 World Men’s team and 2019 High-Performance National Squad (One position).The role will be targeting a successful campaign including preparation for the team champs and towards the future.

There are two stages within the HP National Squad – (i) athletes consistently achieving world ranking goals and tracking towards podium performance at world championships in 1-4 years, and (ii) athletes demonstrating potential for ongoing podium success.

Interested coaches should send a cover letter outlining how they would add value to the Squash NZ High-Performance Programme and their CV including:

• Skills Summary

• Experiences and Accomplishments

• Coaching Qualifications

• Any other relevant awards and information

• Referees.

Please email your cover letter and CV to HP Manager Shelley Kitchen at shelley@squashnz.co.nz by Monday 25th March 2019. Shortlisted candidates will be interviewed the week beginning 25th March with the successful candidate being named shortly thereafter.
