The Coaching Manager will work alongside the High Performance Manager, Shelley Kitchen, the Coaching Advisory Panel and Squash New Zealand staff to coordinate and deliver the elements of the coaching framework and the CoachForce programme, as well as coach the New Zealand team for the 2018 Commonwealth Games.

Wilson says "I am truly delighted to be appointed the role of Coaching Manager for Squash NZ and oversee the national coaching framework. I believe that it is a truly exciting time to be involved in squash in New Zealand with so many coaches being up skilled and the opportunities that have followed. I hope to bring my experience and guidance to the role and continue to establish coaching networks, links, education and pathways for all our coaches.

With our elite senior players performing outstandingly on the world stage in singles and in doubles I am also extremely happy to be involved in the High Performance side with Shelley Kitchen which is an area of huge interest to me. Our elite players have provided an inspiration to everyone within our squash community recently that have given us the energy and drive to push forward and to perform at a high level. I also hope to take a lot of that energy into my role and I look forward to working with the many different coaches, players, parents and administrators during the course of my appointment. Thank you Squash NZ"
