National Squash Centre Manager
8 Sep 2015The trustees of the National Squash Centre have appointed Roberto (Robbie) Yam as the new manager of the centre starting Monday September 14. Robbie will be familiar to many in the squash community through his son Gabe who is a very promising junior and the current U15 North Island Champion.
Robbie also has a squash background having been a national squash champion in the Philippines and he has worked as a coach for the North Shore Squash Club and Squash Auckland.
With a background in operations management and development with large multinational organisations Robbie understands the importance of customer satisfaction, effective communication and timely delivery of goals and objectives and will contribute to the achievement of these outcomes for the National Squash Centre.
Robbie will replace Trevor Colyer who has managed the centre for the last four years. The trustees, Squash New Zealand and Squash Auckland would like to take this opportunity thank Trevor for his contribution over that time and wish him well for the future.
