Performance Coach Advance for Squash Coaches

Four of New Zealand's pre-eminent squash coaches have gained places on Sport New Zealand's Performance Coach Advance programme.

The Performance Coach Advance programme is run by Sport New Zealand and is designed to improve the quality of coaches working with pre-elite emerging athletes.  It is a development programme delivered by Sport New Zealand coaches and regional coordinators, and brings together coaches from a wide range of sports.  The programme is a new initiative in 2014. 

Performance Coach Advance programme is offered in six regions of the country, and priority is given to High Performance Sport New Zealand 'targeted' sports (of which squash is not one).  It is therefore fantastic news for squash to have four coaches selected for the programme.
