Kaitlyn is the national under 13 champion, and at just 12 years of age has already represented Central at junior AND senior level.  Her goal is to represent New Zealand and win the 2018 World Junior Championships.  AMP have been impressed enough by her commitment, and achievements to date, to support her in this quest.Kaitlyn Watts

An important part of achieving her goals will be to receive exposure to international playing styles as much, and as early, as possible.  The AMP Scholarship will help to cover some of the costs associated with this.

These scholarships are highly prestigious and sought-after.  The calibre of applicants in any given year is outstanding, underlining Kaitlyn's achievement in winning the award.  The awards process included flying to Auckland for an interview, and to deliver a presentation to the scholarship committee.
