Combined Grading List Explained

Find out exactly how many points you will have on the new Combined Grading List from January next year.

After a lot of careful testing and experimentation, the Grading List Advisory Group is happy to be able to publish the  translations from the existing grading list to the Combined Grading List:

• Combined Grading List Diagrams and Calculators.

A reminder that this changeover will take effect from January 2014: in plenty of time for next season. 

Most players will be the same grade on the combined grading list as they are now.  However, there will be some exceptions: the slightly different grading bands mean that some players are transferred to a higher or lower grade on the combined grading list.  Every effort has been made to minimise these sorts of changes; however some changes are unavoidable in transitioning to a combined grading list that is sustainable in the long term.  As usual, any inaccuracies will soon ‘come out in the wash’ as matches are played and points are adjusted.
