New Zealand Junior Team Announced
18 Nov 2013The New Zealand team to contest the Trans Tasman Junior Test Series against Australia in January has been announced.
The Trans Tasman Junior Test Series is being revived from 2014, after an eight year absence. There will be some changes to the format since it was last played; with two males and two females in each age group from under 13 to under 19 playing off. A third under 19 boy or girl will be added to the series in alternate years to help prepare for the World Junior Championships.
The 2014 Series will be played on the Gold Coast in mid January, and lead into the Oceania Junior Championships. The Tests, and Oceania Championships, will provide invaluable opportunities for exposure to New Zealand's leading junior players.
