Palmer Beaten By Aussie Legend

Abbie Palmer has found the going too tough in the semifinals of the US$10,000 PSA Tasmanian Open in Devonport.

Palmer, 20 the sixth seed lost to the top seed and former world No.1 Rachael Grinham from Australia in straight games 3-11, 6-11, 7-11 in 19 minutes in her last four match.

Ranked 84 in the world Palmer will now play in the Australian Open this week in Melbourne as part of her build up to the world championships in China in September where she is a member of the New Zealand team.
