Coaching Project Expressions of Interest25 May 2012
A project-based high performance coaching development trip to the Australian Open in August has been planned, and expressions of interest are invited.
The Australian Open has just been confirmed for the 13-19th August 2012 in Canberra. This is a $70,000 men's and $50,000 women's event on the world tour and will feature many of the world's top players. Squash NZ would like to utilise this as an opportunity to further develop the High Performance coaches by developing a project based coach development trip to the event. This opportunity would be self funded.
The project will be developed by the Squash NZ High Performance Coach Paul Hornsby and National Coaching Director Dave Clarke, with all correspondence going through Dave. For full information please read the attached project document: Squash NZ High Performance Coach Development Project.
The project parameters will include player and match analysis, player, coach and referee interviews and a variety of other learning's to be confirmed. Coaches will be provided with resource templates and project outcomes required prior to travel.
The intention would be to fly to Canberra on Wednesday 15th August and depart for Auckland on Sunday 19th August, taking in a total of 26 world class matches.
Expressions of interest are invited to firstname.lastname@example.org. Or for more information see the attached project document: Squash NZ High Performance Coach Development Project.
