SquashStart programmes are getting more people loving it

Social club players

Whether you’re new to squash or returning to the game, SquashStart is a great introduction to the sport. Fun, social and inclusive, it involves a group of people on court with games that will challenge both the body and mind.

The SquashStart sessions are the best way to provide a quick-fire hit of non-stop action, while learning and developing skills to hone your game. You’ll nail the basics by bending, twisting, lunging, jumping, and stretching using both upper and lower body strength to get the ball. Afterwards you’ll have the confidence to jump into other opportunities like social club nights.

SquashStart programmes are run by a coach or leader who’ll put you through your paces with fun, challenging activities together with like-minded players. You’ll undertake individual and team challenges, honing your ball and racket skills then put them into practice in game situations. The sessions are fun, informal and different every time. Once you’ve been through a programme, you’ll be ready to challenge your fellow SquashStart mates to a game or join in with the range of other programmes and events that exist.
