Creating a welcoming club environment20 Feb 2017
A club should be one of the few places where people can escape into a world that is different from their day to day lives. When people enter your squash club it should be inspiring and clean, not intimidating. If people love what the club looks and feels like they will be more likely to come back. However, the one thing a number of clubs don’t offer is any assistance to new members – which costs nothing but time. If new members are left alone, they won’t form good relationships and playing habits and are at risk of not coming back.

- Using committed members to help ‘on-board’ new members at every step of the process. Click here
- Balancing court availability between club events, juniors, interclub, coaching and leisure players so everyone has access to the courts in a fair way. Click here
