Top Men Turning it on for the ASC Summer Open8 Feb 2012
Auckland Squash Centre's Summer Open has a strong line up in the men's open draw with Michael Corren, Lance Beddoes, Chris Lloyd, Lui Syder and Gary Duberly contesting the purse.
The season is starting with a roar at the Auckland Squash Centre (ASC).
The first of five tournaments scheduled at the ASC in 2012 is this weekend's Summer Open.
The season opener has attracted a quality field of men including professionally ranked players Michael Corren, Lance Beddoes and Chris Lloyd as well as World Masters Champion, Gary Duberly and the superbly talented Lui Syder.
"It's great to see the tournament supported by the players" says Scott Harrison, at the ASC. "Not only is it good for the ASC members, it is also important for players in general to have regular events in the calendar to participate in. Squash is just such a great way to stay fit and healthy as well as socialise. Tournaments are a great environment for improving your game and meeting new people."
Matches start 6.20pm Friday 10th February if you would like to get along and watch some top squash. The semifinals are scheduled for 12.10 on Saturday, with the finals at 5.40 on Saturday afternoon.
