King Chasing Semi-final Spot in Pennsylvania

Joelle King is the last Kiwi standing at the prestigious US Open Squash Championships in Pennsylvania.

The world number five is through to the quarterfinals of the $US115,000 event, after a comfortable three game win over England's Sarah Kippax.  She will face English world number four Alison Waters for a place in the semis, where the winner is likely to face world number one Nicol David.

However, fellow Kiwi Campbell Grayson's tournament has come to an end.

Grayson was the only qualifier to make it through to the second round of the men's draw, but he found the going too tough against England's world number four Nick Matthew, going down 11-5, 11-5, 11-6.
