Mitchell Park takes Masters Title

Mitchell Park has defended its Masters Club Team Championships Title at home, beating Wanganui in the final.

The top seeded Mitchell Park A team has taken advantage of its home court advantage and taken the spoils at the Masters Club Team Championships this weekend.  Mitchell Park won the final 3/1.  Wanganui's sole win was provided by Rod Bannister, who will represent New Zealand at the Masters Trans Tasman Test series in Canberra later this year.Mitchell Park - winners - small
 
SquashGym Palmerston North won the playoff for third place in a sets countback (8/7) over Kapiti.
 
It was double success for the home club, as Mitchell Park's B team took out the second division too, beating Kapiti B 4/0 in the final.

Mitchell Park beat Wanganui 3/1.
