King Bows out in Kuala Lumpur

Joelle King has missed out on a spot in the final of the KL Open Squash Championships in Malaysia.

After winning her two previous matches in five games, the seventh seeded Kiwi finally ran out of steam in the semifinals, going down 12-10, 11-5, 12-10 to English fifth seed Alison Waters.

Waters will face compatriot Laura Massaro in the title decider.  The third seed earned her spot in the final with a shock 10-12, 11-6, 11-8, 11-5 victory over world number one Nicol David from Malaysia.
