Champion of Champions Draws REVISED

The draws for the inaugural Champion of Champions National Finals are now available.Champion of Champions logo

The Champion of Champions is Squash New Zealand's newest National Event.  Like Superchamps, it is played at District level first, to find district Champions to travel to the National Finals.  Each district is eligible to send a Champion in each grade (A-F, male and female) to the National Finals, where District Champions play off for the title of 'Champion of Champions'.  It was added to the calendar in 2012 due to popular demand from districts and clubs, many of whom have contested similar events locally for many years.

The event has proved popular in its first year of running, despite its novelty and its late season scheduling.  314 players were involved in the event around the country, with 74 of these travelling to the National Finals at Henderson Squash Club this weekend.  By Saturday night, 12 of these players will be the inaugural National Champions, and the first to have their names engraved on the Champion of Champions cups, shields and trophies.

Please follow the link below for draws, bearing in mind that some have changed due to pull-outs.
