Knight nails semi-final spot in Canada

A hard fought victory for Martin Knight in the quarterfinals of the Goodlife Open in Ottawa.

The third seeded Kiwi has battled to a straight games victory over Austrian Aqeel Rehman, although it was anything but easy.  Rehman pushed Knight all the way, with the 28-year-old Kiwi edging to an 11-9, 13-11, 12-10 victory in 55 minutes.
Knight will play unseeded South African Clinton Leeuw in the last four.  Leeuw earned his place in the semifinals with an 11-8, 12-10, 11-9 upset win over English second seed Chris Simpson.
