Grading List Advisory Group

Expressions of Interest Sought for Squash New Zealand Grading List Advisory Group.

Squash New Zealand is calling for expressions of interest for a Grading List Advisory GriSquash tournament module (small)oup.  As an important and valuable tool within squash - and one capable of 'hooking' new players on the sport - it is important that the grading list is maintained and looked after to ensure it continues to perform as required.

The Advisory Group is intended to provide advice and guidance on all aspects of the grading list.  It will be used as an arm’s length/semi-independent mechanism to raise issues for debate and guidance.  The terms of reference for the working group are available here: SNZ Grading List Advisory Group TOR.

The Advisory Group will be tasked with looking at the grading list in general, as well as several specific issues including the possibility of moving to a single grading list.

If you would like to express interest in being involved in the Grading List Advisory Group, please send a brief summary of:

  • Your involvement in squash;
  • Your interest in the grading list;
  • How you think you would add value to the Advisory Group.

to michael@squashnz.co.nz.  Expressions of interest close on Friday 28 September.  The final group will be appointed by the Squash New Zealand board.
