Williams Waltzes into top 100

Evan Williams 2011New Zealand's Evan Williams has continued his whirlwind rise up the PSA men's world squash rankings.

The young kiwi has rocketed up 17 places to number 91 on the latest list, the biggest move of any player in the top 100 in the September rankings.  Williams has been in outstanding form this year, and came within a whisker of winning his first tour title when beaten in five by Czech Jan Koukal at the Henderson Open last week.  He is now just six places behind fellow Kiwi Kashif Shuja, who is up one spot to number 85 on the September list.

Martin Knight remains the top ranked Kiwi at number 45, while Campbell Grayson is back inside the world's top 50 at number 49.

Meanwhile, there's good news for Joelle King with the release of the latest WSA women's rankings.  King is up one spot to number 12 on the September list, which guarantees direct entry to the main draw in all events on tour.

Fellow Kiwi Jaclyn Hawkes remains at number 19 on the list, while Kylie Lindsay has leapt five places to a career best 39, one better than her previous high of 40 set in March last year.

Amanda Landers Murphy is at number 46 this month while rising star Megan Craig remains just outside the top 50, ranked at number 53 in the world.
