King KO'd by Kasey in Canberra

Kasey Brown has ended Joelle King's campaign at the Australian Open in Canberra.

On a day when the seeded players have fallen like dominoes, 9th seeded Joelle King has been unable to upset 8th seeded Australian Kasey Brown, going down in four games.  The world number 13 started well, grabbing the first game 11-7, but Brown fought back and gradually asserted her authority to complete a 7-11, 11-4, 11-6, 11-9 victory.

King will now head home to prepare for next week's Matamata Open, a $35,000 event on the WSA World Tour, which has attracted entries from nine of the world's top 20 players.
