Doubledot Media PSA Series
10 Aug 2012Entries for the second event of the Doubledot Media PSA event at Henderson close today.
The Doubledot Media PSA Series got off to a rollicking start at SquashGym Palmerston North from 27-29 July, with players from five countries travelling to Palmerston North for the tournament. It was a fantastic start to the series, with Kiwi players performing well and picking up valuable ranking points. Joseph Watts and Andrew Ellis reached the quarter-finals, Paul Coll reached the semi-finals, while Kashif Shuja defeated Evan Williams in the final to pick up his eleventh career PSA title.
The next event of the series is the Henderson Open from 24-26 August. PSA registrations have been received from six countries, including the top seed Jan Koukal of Czech Republic (boasting a world ranking of 50). Players of all ages/abilities can enter the event, either by following the link below, or through the iSquash homepage. Qualification begins on Thursday 23 August, and the Henderson Open (non PSA event) starts Wednesday 22 August.
The final event of the series is the Christchurch Boys High Open at Squashways Canterbury from 28-30 September.
