July Rankings Jump for Joelle and Jaclyn

Good news for New Zealand's Joelle King in the latest world squash rankings.

King is up one place to number 12 on the July list, earning her direct entry into the main draw of the WSA Tour's major events.  King is currently back home training and is due to resume on tour on August 13.

Several other New Zealanders also have plenty to celebrate this month.  Amanda Landers-Murphy has broken into the world's top 50 for the first time, climbing two places to number 49.  Landers-Murphy has had a great year on the WSA Tour, picking up a win and two runner-up finishes in tournaments across the Tasman.

There are now four Kiwis in the top 50, with Jaclyn Hawkes up one place to 17 on the latest list and Kylie Lindsay climbing two places to number 46.

A further two players are in the top 100, with Megan Craig at a career high 71, 11 places up on last month and Larissa Stephenson up four places to number 92.

Meanwhile, Martin Knight remains the top New Zealander on the men's PSA rankings list.  Knight has held steady at number 44 this month, despite spending the last three weeks on the sideline with a calf injury.  Campbell Grayson's ranking is also unchanged at 53 while Kashif Shuja is down six places to 93.  Rising star Evan Williams has crept closer to the world's top 100, up seven places to a career best 119 while Paul Coll is up 10 places to 144.
