Shelley Kitchen Squash Hall of Fame Induction

We are very pleased to announce that Shelley Kitchen will be inducted into the NZ Squash Hall of Fame at the National Squash Awards on 1st December 2018.

 

Shelley played professional squash for 10 years between 2000 and 2010 and has made a huge contribution greatly to the sport. During her career she won a bronze singles medal and a silver in the doubles at the 2006 Melbourne Commonwealth Games. She also won 2 medals at the World Doubles Squash Championships, silver in Chennai 2004 in the mixed doubles and she took out the gold in Melbourne 2006.

 

In the 2011 New Year Honours, Shelley was appointed a Member of the New Zealand Order of Merit for service to sport.

 

Shelley is our Squash NZ High Performance Manager, helping the new generation of high performance players reach their goals.
