Final Send Off and Media for Commonwealth Games Team

Last night saw a great turn out of people for the final send-off of our 2018 Commonwealth Games Team. Unfortunately, our LiveStreaming couldn't work but here is a bit of an update on the media interactions over the past few days!

The final send-off for our Commonwealth Games Team 2018 was attended by around 50people. The night was hosted by Dave Worsley who will be attending the Commonwealth Games and helping to cover squash. Questions were asked by people of all ages and some of our future stars got to see what they have to do to get to this stage in their careers.

Newsroom got in and did an interview with Joelle King and we got an insight into the moment Joelle King decided to almost give it all up! The full story can be found here

TVNZ came and did a story on Paul and Joelle as well. TVNZ looked at how Paul has come to be one of the favorites for the Games and how he is dealing with the pressure.

Joelle talked to TVNZ about how she is looking to do her best come to the games!

We also saw Jack Tame from Breakfast get on court and Paul Coll had some words of wisdom for him.

Finally the NZ Olympic Committee released a video on Paul Coll and his thoughts on the fern 

Wow what a week and there is only more to come!
