Glenn Carson and Jackie Hamilton have had their nominations accepted by the organizing committing GOLDOC and the Commonwealth Games Federation to attend this event. Glenn will be attending his second Commonwealth Games after having refereed at the 2014 Glasgow Commonwealth Games. Glenn has a long list of refereeing achievements with his most recent and notable being his appointment as centre referee for the WSF World Junior Squash Championships Men’s Final held in Tauranga. Glenn has also been appointed to referee at the 2017 Cathay Pacific Sun Hung Kai Financial Hong Kong Open being held in November.

Jackie having achieved her Regional Refereeing status at the end of 2016 has been continuing to go from strength to strength this season having refereed at a number of PSA events and at the New Zealand Senior Nationals. Jackie has also been appointed to the Australian Open and Australian Doubles where she will work alongside a number of the refereeing team who will be attending the Gold Coast event.

We wish both Glenn and Jackie well in their preparation towards this event and we look forward to them refereeing and representing New Zealand off the court at the 2018 Commonwealth Games.
