Seedings Go to Plan at South Island Age Groups

Day 1 of the South Island Age Groups at the Oamaru Squash and Badminton club has been relatively straight forward for the higher seeded players.

The Under 19 Girls saw two rounds played but the higher seeded players moved through with wins over their lower seeded opponents. It was a similar situation for the Under 19 Boys with all the top seeds claiming their wins over their lower seeded opponents in 3.

The Under 17 Boys and Girls followed a similar pattern with all of the higher seeded opponents progressing through to the next rounds comfortably.

The Under 15 Boys heads into the semi-finals stage with the top 4 seeds all having made their way through relatively unscathed. With Pool Play in the Under 15 Girls it is still anyones title as they head into the second round of pool play today with some close battles in the first rounds.

The Under 13 Boys has reached the semi final stage with the top 4 seeds having progressed through comfortably with it being the same story in the girls draw as well.

The Under 11 Boys and Girls have seen no upsets either with the higher seeded players progressing through.

Draws for the Boys Divisions and Girls Under 19 and 17 can be found on iSquash. The Girls Under 11, 13 and 15 can be found below.
