Racketball in New Zealand

Racketball story

You want a game that is easy to pick up, that’s as much fun for young people as it is adults – no matter your ability?

Almost every sport worldwide now has a variation of their game to increase relevance, accessibility and appeal across different target audiences. Squash is no different with the international equivalent Racketball (formerly Racketball) a fast-growing game overseas. Racketball uses a big bat, big ball and is big fun. Give Racketball a try.

Played on a standard squash court, Racketball is considered by many as a ‘lighter’ version of the traditional game. A larger ball and shorter racket encourages an easy to adopt form of squash – perfect for new players and those who are struggling to keep up with the faster pace of the normal game. The bouncier ball is slower which means there’s more time to react and get to the ball, making it easier to pick up.

If you want longer rallies and a great cardio workout but at a slower pace, Squash is the game for you. Find out more
